Our second property is a rustic Alpine hut in Silbertal and a lovely excursion destination for all ages.

How to get there

  • Easy route: start at the Kristbergbahn parking lot and walk about 5 km along the Litz, around one hour.
  • Panoramic route: take the longer scenic loop from the Kristbergbahn mountain station down to the hut.

We can arrange a transfer from Silbertal directly to the hut on request.

  • Summer: daily from mid-May to mid-October
  • Winter: daily except Mondays from December 25 to Easter

Our new hotel tennis court is being built on the rooftop above our new rooms and is not yet available to play on. Until it is completed, you are welcome to use the courts at TC Montafon in Tschagguns. If you would like some professional coaching, we will also be happy to arrange tennis lessons with experienced trainers there. Our reception team will gladly help you organise everything.

Arrival & Mobility

Travelling to Schruns by public transport is easy and relaxed. Upon prior notice, we are happy to pick you up at Schruns train station. If you arrive by train, we will also welcome you with a complimentary drink.

Getting around during your stay is just as convenient, as the “Alpenrose” bus stop is located right in front of the hotel. Perfect for a car free holiday in Montafon.

Yes, you can also enjoy à-la-carte dining at the Alpenrose without booking half board.

Lunch is served à la carte at Finis Restaurant from 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm. In the evening, you can dine à la carte at Finis Restaurant during the reservation times from 5.30 to 8.00 pm, or at Das Esszimmer from Tuesday to Saturday between 5.30 and 10.00 pm.

For dinner, we recommend reserving a table in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.

At Finis Restaurant, you can enjoy breakfast, half board and à-la-carte dishes at lunchtime and in the evening. It is the main dining venue at the Alpenrose, combining regional cuisine with warm alpine hospitality.

Das Esszimmer is our special in-house restaurant for the evening. From Tuesday to Saturday, it offers a more refined and intimate setting for relaxed dining.

We recommend reserving a table for both restaurants, especially in the evening or if you have any special requests.

There is a large meadow and forest directly behind the hotel for off-leash play.
