Committed to nature. For the benefit of our guests.

We skip the greenwashing talk. We also won’t claim that we do everything perfectly. But we do our best every day to contribute - to nature, to our employees, and to our guests. For the well-being of our planet. For the health of everyone who stays or works with us.

Naturally Energy-Conscious

Energy Production

A 300 m² solar system provides hot water.

Recycling

Used oil and organic waste are properly disposed of and recycled into energy.

Heating

A low-temperature heating system supplies energy efficiently.

Hot Water

A groundwater heat pump and district heating connection ensure climate-neutral heating and hot water throughout the hotel.

Employee Well-Being

Instead of an air-source heat pump, we rely on a climate-neutral district heating connection.

Waste Heat

Our indoor pool and whirlpool are heated with waste heat from our cooling units.

Renewable Energy

We use electricity from renewable sources provided by Illwerke VKW.

Hydropower

In our mountain hut, we generate electricity with our own small hydropower plant.

Naturally Regional

Precious Water

To avoid wasting water, we use water-saving showerheads and faucets. Instead of transporting mineral water from far away, we offer sparkling and still Alpenrose Alpine water from our very own spring, located just behind the hotel.

Go to the Source

Naturally Regional, Of Course

When it comes to food, we focus on regional and seasonal products. Our dairy products come from nearby farms, and whenever possible we purchase ingredients from local producers. That matters to us. And it tastes better too. Just like the venison from our own hunting grounds. We are also always on the hunt for new ideas. Plastic and single-use packaging? We avoid them whenever possible and instead use natural materials such as paper, wood or stone.

Naturally Sustainable with Real Value
