From traditional Vorarlberger Kässpätzle to Polma noodles and Riebel – our homeland cuisine serves you the very best of the “Ländle.” And we like to keep it varied, just like our region itself. Traditional favorites, reinterpreted with a modern twist. Every now and then, we even dive into grandma’s old recipe book for inspiration.

For refined palates, there’s also our Esszimmer Restaurant – passionately run by Emanuel Ganahl, with a special focus on sushi prepared “Muntafun style.”

Enjoy our rich breakfast buffet each morning at Restaurant Alpenrose and in the evening a multi-course menu of your choice. Want to spend an evening at the Esszimmer à la carte sushi restaurant? Absolutely. Even half board guests are welcome to reserve a table – just ask at reception and we’ll be happy to help.

For hotel guests with breakfast

Keep your day flexible. Whether dining in the Restaurant Alpenrose or at the Esszimmer by Emanuel Ganahl – you can always reserve a table and discover our à la carte offerings.

For external guests

Visitors from Schruns and the surrounding area are warmly welcome.

Start your day with our rich breakfast buffet, featuring fresh, regional products, specialty egg dishes, coffee, tea, cocoa, juices, and a variety of organic options.

At lunch and dinner, Michael Tschanun and his young, wild team serve alpine-inspired dishes with passion and creativity. Many ingredients come directly from our own farm, fields, and forests – making every bite a taste of the Montafon mountains.

À la carte for guests from Schruns and the surrounding region

Our kitchen team, led by Michael Tschanun and Alexandra Zünd, cooks with passion and creativity and is always on the lookout for new culinary inspiration based on products from our alpine region. The Mäser family also places great importance on homemade, fresh, and house-made ingredients..

The à la carte restaurant is open daily from 12:00 to 16:30 and from 18:30 to 20:00. You can enjoy our generous breakfast buffet with fresh, regional products from 7:30 to 10:30.

Regional tastes better

Cheese buffet – sourced mostly from our own cows grazing the lush summer pastures of the Silbertal Alps.

Wild game dishes – 100% from our family’s own hunting grounds, personally harvested and prepared.

Fresh fish – trout and char from our alpine hut Fellimännle.

At the Esszimmer, alpine cooking meets international classics, reinterpreted with finesse. The highlight: sushi prepared Muntafun style. Behind it all is Emanuel Ganahl, whose passion for cooking was sparked in childhood. Having honed his skills across more than 20 countries, deeply inspired by his time in Japan, he now brings his love for the art of sushi back home to the Alpenrose.
